An addition of Seabuckthorn and Raspberry Seed Oils enriches it with protective and restorative essentials as well as naturally occurring, yet not sensitising, retinol, and the added benefit of sun-sense, scar healing and restorative fatty acid profiles. Squalane from Olives gives this oil blend the feel of a serum, and with a tiny amount of Peru Balsam, it's now supercharged for anti-inflammatory assistance, helping to de-puff stubborn water-retention pockets and produce a radiant complexion.
I absolutely love this new formulation for facial massage in the evenings, however, it is THE oil I have been choosing to use under EnviroProtection Lotion or Everyday Solar Balm because of the added UV protection it offers.
The soft, earthy floral aromatics help me to relax, and massage smooths underlying fascia and tendons in the face and neck after a day of 'making faces' and expressing myself.
Packaged in a larger size with pump lid applicator, it's suitable for use every day and night.
Ingredient Details
In-house blends of Certified Organic Rosehip in Jojoba Oil and Calendula in Olive Oil, Seabuckthorn in Jojoba, with Carrot Seed Oil, gives it a bright orange hue. Anti-inflammatory Helichrysum & Raspberry Seed Oil, toning Neroli and firming Patchouli essential oils are also a trio of nervous system 'balms', enabling deep calm from the inside out.
Macadamia, Seabuckthorn, Jojoba & Rosehip oils deliver an almighty load of essential fatty acids and nutrients deep into the skin leaving it soft, supple and vibrant.
Raspberry Seed Oil has known broad spectrum protection from UVA and UVB rays (similar to Tamanu Oil from Polynesia that you'll find in Shield Day Lotion). It has massive anti-inflammatory qualities that increase the natural ability of the skin to absorb and utilise UV rays and help to limit burning and sun damage. Packed with high amounts of tocopherols (Vitamins E & A), Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids.
Squalane from Olives is almost identical in structure to Squalene in our skin sebum (naturally produced skin oils by our body) and is necessary for optimum skin health. Its youth-inducing components feed cellular functions, smooth fine lines and assist with retaining moisture for a firm, elastic skin tone.
Carrot Seed oil revitalises the skin's appearance, refreshing and toning the complexion by assisting the removal process of excess water and toxin build up at a cellular level.
Everything in this blend is active and beneficial and will assist with natural collagen production. Skin Elixir is suitable for all skin types, having a broad spectrum of nutrients to feed, heal and regenerate the dermis. You can use it after cleansing as a nourishing moisturiser, or as an additive to a home-spa facial mask as a vitamin boost to the skin. I recommend adding it to 'Luminous' Facial Cleansing Powder with a spoonful of Kaolin Clay to make a richly restorative face mask. Reset tired skin by using this once a week.
