Crystal Clear Skin Ritual Scrub
PURIFYING TONING HYDRATING CLEANSING
The magic of cleansing Green Tea has been known about for thousands of years, and now it's being used more and more in skincare because it works miracles in a short space of time. The aroma is fresh, floral and clean. As an astringent it will work alongside the Riceflour and Arrowroot Powder to balance and clarify over-oily skin and brighten skin tone naturally. Coconut Oil and Jasmine Absolute bring skin nourishment and moisturisation with a delicate layer of luxurious floral aroma.
It helps to firm up lacklustre skin around the hips, buttocks and thighs and can be used as a preparation for spray tan. If you are concerned about cellulite, this scrub when used regularly will encourage blood flow and detoxification of the area, improving the appearance and tone of the skin.
But really, you're going to use it because it feels good and smells awesome...the other things are just side benefits!
Use it on Keratosis Pilaris (goosebump skin) on the upper arms, thighs, hips and bottom, leaving it on as a mask treatment for up to half and hour then washing off with cool water. Visible change is immediate.
Suitable for use on decoletage, neck and face, however let the mixture sit in a small dish with some water for about 15minutes beforehand allowing the green tea to soften into a thick paste and infuse the blend. Apply lightly, rubbing in gently, and rinse off with cool water.
NOT FOR USE IN PREGNANCY. Jasmine is a uterine stimulant and may help with menstrual aches and tension.
Infused with 'Super Seven' Crystal Essence - "So called because the stone contains all seven of these crystal manifestations: Clear Quartz. Smoky Quartz, Cacoxenite, Amethyst, Rutile, Geothite and Lepidocrocite. Also called the 'Melody Stone'. It is often mentioned that this stone 'aligns all seven chakras' but I felt it was much more of an 'activation code' for all of the energy centers in and out of the physical body. My particular specimen is a very Clear Quartz with the other inclusions, and because of this it has magnificent amplification energy. It's an Auric manifestation-activation-energy-amplifier!".

How to use:
Body Scrub - Wet skin and turn off the shower. Gently shake out a small amount of Scrub powder into your hand and rub over your skin. Repeat until you have scrubbed your bod. Rinse off with water. Pat dry. Make sure you don't get any water into your pouch.
Bath Soak - Add 3 to 4 tablespoons to a warm bath and add a cup of milk of your choice. Rinse off with a shower if desired. Pat dry.
For Face, Neck and Shoulders - Mix about 3 teaspoons of scrub with enough water to make a thin paste. Let the mixture sit in a small dish for about 15minutes beforehand allowing the green tea to soften into a thick paste and infuse the blend. Adjust the consistency with a little more water if needed so you have a thick paste to work with. Apply lightly to damp skin (use a mist if required) starting at the shoulders and working up to the forehead, rubbing in gently. Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes then rinse off with cool water and pat dry.
Non-foaming and moisturising, you can be assured your skin is clean, nourished and toxin-free! Yippee! The base mixtures in each Body Ritual are cleansing and moisturising, gently exfoliating dirt and dead skin away, leaving you clean, soft and lightly scented. Each pouch contains 150ml and/or up to 250g. Each scrub weight varies depending on the base used for the scrub and the amount of oil present.

Why do I need to exfoliate?
Aging slows down the rate of cell renewal so it’s important that as we mature, we are also taking active steps towards promoting cell renewal. Skincare products, which may include the use of make-up, balms or sunblock, need to be removed regularly to promote a clear and bright complexion. And then there is general environmental pollution and dirt which also requires a thorough cleanse. Avoid a sluggish or lack-lustre appearance by exfoliating a couple of times a week as part of your normal skincare routine to keep your complexion fresh and smooth.
Doesn’t soap cleanse my skin enough?
Soap or soap-like products strip oils from your skin and they do not discriminate. Good oils and bad oils all go down the drain when you use a soap and they leave skin dry, unprotected and vulnerable to a shock reaction that can bring on the overproduction of oil. A good exfoliator will be made using oils that nourish and cleanse at the same time, along with the particles that do the more intensive exfoliation and a binding agent like clay or botanical powder that draws out impurities gently but effectively.
If I want it to work should I exfoliate everyday?
No. It’s more helpful to allow your skin to rest for a couple of days between treatments.
If you have a skin condition that leaves you with open sores or small wounds don’t exfoliate those areas until they are healed. (Take a look at ‘Soothe’ or 'Balance' Powdered Facial Cleanser, 'AngelWings' MPO or ‘Panacea’ Aromatherapy Blend)
My skin is red after exfoliating! Did I do something wrong?
No you didn’t do anything wrong. Everyone is different and will react to exfoliation differently because each person will massage the product in differently. I encourage everyone to begin exfoliation (especially of the face) with a very gentle touch. Let the product work for you instead of you working the product, and gauge your sensitivity to this method. If you are red for more than 30mins after a treatment you are probably pushing too hard or have very sensitive skin, or, you have discovered a sensitivity to a certain ingredient.
Either way, apply a cool, soft cloth to your skin until the redness subsides, changing it and cooling it every 3 minutes or so until you have cooled your skin.
NB: If you want to test out the sensitivity to a product it's a great idea to dab a little on the inside of your wrist and leave it for a few moments. You can rinse your wrist much more easily and quicker than your face ;)
