Inhalation-

Add a 3 to 5 drops to a vapouriser or diffuser to kill airborne viruses and bacteria, and to freshen and clear the atmosphere of your home or workspace.

Add 3 to 5 drops to a bottle or tin of rock salt and inhale the vapours regularly. Re-cap between uses and add another 3 to 5 drops each day until symptoms desist.

Topically -

Add 5 drops to 50ml pure water and use as an all-purpose disinfectant solution. Wipe the dilution over door knobs, light switches, telephones and all bathroom surfaces to reduce contact contamination from everyday use and especially if there are active viruses amongst occupants.

Always do a Patch Test first.

 

As a cold & flu remedy -

Apply a few drops into a teaspoon of carrier oil (olive, coconut, jojoba) and rub into the soles of the feet at the onset of sniffles or fever, and cover with socks. Repeat up to three times a day for 3 to 5 days.

 

Add 1 drop to one cup of luke warm water and use as a throat gargle and mouthwash to alleviate the symptoms of colds, flu, sore throat and tonsilitis etc.

Add 5 drops to 30ml carrier oil and massage into the skin around the lymph glands (behind the ear and down the neck, under the armpits towards the breasts, down the front of the torso and then the left side of the lower abdominals towards the groin) to promote detoxification from colds, flu and other viral conditions. This is a very basic lymphatic drainage massage that promotes excretion of poisons from the body.

 

To use for respiratory illnesses, or aching chest from coughs and chills: Apply diluted with a carrier oil (as suggested above) to the upper chest and between the shoulder blades rubbing in till absorbed. Re-apply every hour or so as needed.

Is this a pure essential oil blend?

Yes, this is a completely pure essential oil blend. No carriers, no fillers.

 

Can I use it in a diffuser?

Yes. Suitable for diffusers and vapourisers.

 

Is it suitable for children?

Topically - No. It's suitable for adults and children approximately 13 years and up. Caution for use with elderly or infirm. Always dilute heavily for first use. See the Patch Test post for more information.

Inhalation - Yes. As an oil for diffusing into the atmosphere it lends a calming and cleansing signature to any space.

Sample bottles are approximately 3ml of oil in an amber glass bottle with dropper cap closure. They can be used to refill the 2ml bottles in the MINIS COLLECTION.

Sample solid balms are presented on a square of glassine paper in a glassine envelope with seal. They should be kept away from heat and light and used within a few weeks of receiving as they are not in an airtight container.
